Mr. Eric Ngaira

Mr Erick Mutevesi Ngaira is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya having been admitted to the Bar in 2011.

He is a specialist in Media Law, Contract Law, Commercial Law, Employment and Labor relations Law, Public Sector Law, Regulatory Compliance, and general corporate governance practices.

Erick holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Catholic University of Eastern Africa and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He is also a certified professional Mediator.

Mr Ngaira has undergone the Senior Management Course (Kenya School of Government), Corporate Governance training (Centre of Corporate Governance), and several professional trainings and certifications including but not limited to Legal and Governance Audit, Data Protection, Mediation, from various institutions.

As the Registrar, Media Complaints Commission, he is responsible for case record management and day to day administration of the operations of the Complaints Commission, ensuring compliance with the Media Council Act No.46 of 2013, reviewing legislation as well as providing board secretarial services.
