Health is wealth. In order to maintain good health, one needs physical exercise. It can be done by jogging, body stretches, sit ups and even going to the gym.
With good health, one can be physically and mentally fit and that’s where mental health comes in. Mental health has become a cancer to our health, eating us up from inside and before realising, you are at the peak of it.
It could push one to commits suicide, engage in drug abuse, killings, and other vices. When you can control it then you become a hero.
Poor working environment and work pressures have become major causes of mental health problems. Too much work without exercise can cause pressure.
Always change your daily routine to avoid monotony and boredom, have a walk, you don’t need to drive every day to work and back, listen to music it soothes one’s mind and tends to reduce stress and pressure. A healthy mind can only be gained by a healthy life.
Debts and loans have also become negative factors of mental health. Always borrow what you can pay. Live according to your standards not other people’s. Don’t strive to be like someone else when you can’t afford it, yes, we learn from others but as you learn, pick what you can bear. Live a lifestyle you can maintain.
Loans are not bad, but they become dreadful when you borrow what you can’t pay. Remember the institution where you borrow money will never give you time to breath when you default as they give you countless calls and ‘threats. This then will affect you mentally.
Mental health problems can always be prevented when proper action is taken. Always have someone to share with your feelings. In today’s society, a higher percentage of people have been found to be untrustworthy but remember there is always one person you can trust.
According to the statistics, men have been found to be keeping feelings for themselves which is a very dangerous way of dealing with stress. Speak out and let’s hold hands together as we fight this ‘cancer’ called mental health before it eats us up.
