The Media Council of Kenya (MCK) is developing a database for communication heads in government bodies to improve performance and enhance service delivery.
MCK Head of Government Relations John Munyiri said the availability of a database containing contact details of government representatives will enlightenment the public on matters of national interest and explore potential partnerships.
He underscored the importance of bridging the gap between government entities and the public and streamlining communication within government institutions, by having a common database to ensure access to and timely dissemination of information.
“The database development intends to promote information sharing within government institutions and to explore potential partnership opportunities”, said Mr Munyiri at an engagement with the MCK team in Naivasha.
